updates!

Hey y'all. Sorry it's been way too long since my last post! Anyway, ALOT of new stuff going on...
Firstly, Sage & I have been putting the finishing touches on the new Codebreaker album titled, "The Space Chase" & can't wait to share it with you.

If you look to the right you'll notice some new live dates. We're coming out of a one year hiatus from the live band! We took the year off from the band to completely focus on the new album. Anyway, the live show is sounding great, be sure to check us if we're in your area.

We just finished up another new remix for Thieves Like Us titled, "The Walk" to be released soon on Paris label, DeBonton.

I promise to stay on top of the blog more! Until next time...

Stumbled across this chop n' clip video made up of our logo, a few other stills & Batman doing go-go dances to one of our old tunes, "Are You Ready 2 Love?"

TLU remix buzz

Hey y'all...You can now get Codebreaker's Thieves Like Us remix for FREE at full 320 bitrate, thanks to recent features in RCRDLBL:
"it's Codebreaker's four on the floor funk that catapults the track into another stratosphere."

and TILT Magazine:
"This remix is huge and has a very sexy feel to it."

Not to mention a nice review chiming in from PDX's Monorail blog:
"French imprint, deBonton asked them to give this Thieves Like Us track the Codebreaker make-over, and they turned it into a dark, building, twisted piece of late-night funk-house. choice."

Enjoy:)

Thieves Like Us meets Codebreaker.

Sage & I recently finished a remix for Thieves Like Us for french label, deBonton. The track they had us do was "Headlong Into Night"
We significantly sped up the BPM's, hollowed it out & rebuilt from there. We took TLU's spooky presence & minor chord trademarks & gave 'em the Codebreaker treatment...resulting in some haunted, sexual, building, four on the floor funk.

Good friend Black Shag at Beat Electric described it as "early Underworld meets GQ"

You can stream the remix on Codebreaker's page.

You can purchase it on itunes.
